Continuum is a short film Directed by Justin Chien and Ryan Huang. The film follows a father and his struggle to perfect a working time machine in order to travel back in time and save his deceased daughter from getting run over by a car. The most involved effect by far was the car hit. On set, we filmed two elements, one of the girl walking into the street, and another of a mannequin wearing a wig getting slammed by the car. I worked painstakingly to make the transition from girl to mannequin look seamless.

During another scene, in an alternate timeline, the time machine is accidentally blown up. This was mainly accomplished using lens flares and Action Essentials elements.
